Crocuses after a spring rain

This photo is of crocuses, the first wild flowers to blossom in the springtime in North Dakota. It had rained the day before, but the next day the sun was shining while the raindrops hadn't yet dried. Theses flowers seemed almost relish the refreshing rain to quench their thirst!
