Crowns
Two women don various flowers as part of their hair styles aka their crowns. Before the pandemic, we gathered in spaces mask-less and celebrated life. Curlfest, a celebration of Black natural hair, was one of the last major outdoor events that I photographed before the world as we knew it changed.
