While traveling in Iceland, we had a random opportunity to visit an ice cave. I'm glad we did! In this photo you can see the entrance to this incredible natural wonder along with its the massive ice walls that have dark spots of long ago embedded volcanic ash. In the lower left, you can see a little bit of the stream that runs through the cave. The people at the entrance give you a sense of the size of the cave.
