Cute Western Banded Gecko (Coleonyx variegatus) located during a night hike in the Sonoran Desert. These nocturnal reptiles usually tries to escape whenever possible, for some reason this little one felt comfortable just laying over a rock. For a double surprise he found some kind of interest in my camera lens.
