Near my home is a water way that dries up in summer and flows fast post winter, but its is a common thoroughfare for our local wildlife. I set up a camera trap to capture what may come through. This winter I was lucky enough to capture this curious juvenile bobcat. While the worlds big cats are suffering, the bobcat is perhaps the only big cat that has maintained its natural range and a reasonable percentage of its historical abundance levels. I find these cats highly under appreciated so it's nice to capture an image of them to be shared.
