We had taken a zodiak from our cruise ship to Salisburg Plain in South Georgia Island to observe and photograph elephant seals, fur seals and various birds. Many of the fur seals had given birth within the last three weeks. The adult seals were laying on shore molting. I happened upon two seals that soaking the Christmas day sun and were curious about these animals that walked on two legs and had on orange jackets. When they focused on me, I took the picture.
