I found this red-tailed hawk in a rehabilitation park in eastern Pennsylvania and loved how willing she was to stay still for pictures. The darkness of the background makes it look slightly otherworldly to me, and I love that I didn't have to do that in post. That's just how it looked. Getting shots of animals looking right at a camera is one of my favorite things to shoot.
