A 14-day bicycle trip from Annecy to Nice via the Route des Grand Alps. One road from Beaufort to Bourg St Maurice passes over the Cormet d’Areche and is unpaved for 6km. Few venture here. The cycling is difficult but worth the effort. The scenery is outstanding.
