Dancers under the fire shower

Astonishing handcrafted bamboo structures charged with vast amounts on fireworks and intricate motion mechanisms are a well-kept tradition in the Andean region of Ecuador. Here we see a display of home-crafted pyrotechnics during the celebration of new year's eve at the community of Zuleta. While the castle burns and explodes it displays a marvelous show of light and fire showers under which people dance around.
