Dancing in the dark

In these photos I tried to interpret the concept that Debora (progettidarte.org) has of dance. Debora was instrumental in guiding me in this shooting. The interesting thing is the intertwined play of energy and forces that develops in the body of the dancer when he dances and gives life to shapes and lines that sometimes stretch, shorten, contract or intertwine, the same forces that allow you to act or to dance even if there is no music just listening to your heartbeat. Forms that come to life only because there are just as many generated to repel them. When we see the dancer dancing or twirling slightly on stage, perhaps even smiling, in fact, at that moment he is making a considerable effort both physically and mentally to channel and manage these forces and synchronize them with his own breath, with his muscles, with the music or with dance mates, trying to create all the most harmonious possible and highlighting the artistic, physical, intellectual and emotional side of the dance itself, which is perhaps even more important than the technique
