Dancing in the Dark 4

'Dancing in the Dark 4" is a double exposure photograph of a marsh mallow that is waking up to daylight. The lightness and delicacy of the marsh mallow stands out against the darkness of the background. By using double exposure, I am showing you the same scene twice, slightly shifted to create a mysterious layering and transparency effect. The red stems and the dark green leaves create an interesting pattern against the depth of the flower bush. This image is not created or altered on the computer. Besides minor color adjustments, this is how Dancing in the Dark came out of my camera.
