The Chinese Lion Dance is commonly performed during the New Year or other commemorations to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits. So when I saw these lion dance performers at a local street fair, I thought about the new year post-covid/post-pandemic and the symbolism of a new and promising future filled with goodness and positivity. We have much to celebrate as we address the Covid19 virus spread, and much more life to live going forward.
