Dancing Sifaka

A Verreaux's Sifaka crossing the open road at Berenty with her baby on her back. The sifaka is known for its "dancing" or sashaying which results from the lemur's inability to walk due to its splayed feet. When sifakas need to move on the ground hop sideways on their hind legs with bellies thrust out and arms held aloft.
