The Dandpatta is a type of sword. Though used as a weapon in the times of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, now it is used as a form of martial arts. Several acts are performed. One such act is cutting or slicing the lemons. It is a very skilled task and requires a lot of practice. These acts are performed only during certain festivals or at competitions nowadays. One such act is seen here which was a part of a competetion. This art can be seen only in very few cities in my state.
