Dangerous section of Kalalau Trail

Along the Kalalau Trail, there are several slanted hillside sections below which, should you lose your footing, there is no place to stop a slide or otherwise stop yourself from falling from height onto rocks or the ocean. Fortunately, these areas are not extremely slippery, which means if you're wearing appropriate footwear, and you place each step carefully, sliding is unlikely. If it's your first time, it does make one nervous.
