Dawn of a new tomorrow

The climate crisis is one of the biggest challenges of our time. The high consumption of fossil fuels are turning the Earth into a massive furnace. Already today, the effects in many regions of the planet are clearly noticeable. The reasons for global warming are very well known; especially the concentration of the CO2 has since the mid-19th century enormously increased. This rise is almost exclusively man-made. We are standing on the edge of tomorrow, a dawn of a new world we are creating; it's hard to find the words to describe the world after collapse of the climate is in full swing; it's going to be a sad world, a dead world. Picture was taken on my tour of documenting climate change impacts in Austria. There's many already to be seen clearly. However, the glaciers, pride of the Alps, are disappearing in record pace. Beautiful Schlatenkees glacier on the picture, full of crevasses (wounds of the glaciers) is forecasted to be gone in few decades or less.
