Dawn ove The Mekong

A small ferryboat makes its way across the Mekong River at sunrise just downstream from Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The Mekong is an immensely important yet fragile natural habitat that is under threat from multiple directions including massive upstream hydro electric schemes, pollution, over fishing and sand and gravel dredging. The river is the pulsing heart of the communities that line its banks.
