I was out walking early in the morning in Leavenworth Kansas, and spotted this nest in a tree just off the sidewalk. This was an "in the town" spot on the side of a street, and a delightful surprise. Mama bird sat on the power line, morning catch in her beak waiting for me to walk away so she could feed her little ones.
