While on a Viking Cruise in Russia - the Waterways of the Tsars - we passed this underwater church that was a reminder of the days when a town stood on these banks and before the Soviets built a hydroelectric plant nearby in the 1980's. Today, the Church of Krokhino on the Volga shares it's timeless beauty as a commentary on the old and the new.
