Standing in the middle of this salt pan was amazing, entirely surrounded by high red dunes. Behind me stands „Big Daddy“, probably the highest dune on earth at over 350 meters. The atmosphere was amazing, like an amphi theater with phenomenal acoustics. I could even hear the people hiking up to the top of the dunes as they were talking to each other.
