Death on the Great Salt Lake

The north end of the Great Salt Lake is home to a thin strip of salt flats, home to Robert Smithson's famed Spiral Jetty. On a recent motorcycle trip there we explored the nearby remains of an old oil well, surrounded only by salt, patches of rubbery, dried out oil, and a few scattered bones.
