The stalagmite formations within Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico can play tricks on the eyes. Deep beneath our feet, terrifying features lay dormant in the darkness as speleothems seem to form jagged teeth. Don’t dare to venture too close, or you may become this monster’s next treat.
