16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Deep Dreaming
By capturing this image, I focus on the innocence and abstractness of early childhood. The photograph itself makes viewers question what exactly this is an image of. The confusion depicted relates to young aged individuals. Childhood is a grey area for multiple people. Personally, I did not have a childhood. I was forced to grow up and take care of my brother. Once my childhood was taken away from me, my innocence instantly disappeared. I became more aware of the real world.
