My best friend and I woke up at 4:30 in the morning to go the Adriatica Village near our homes. The sunrise is my favorite part of the day, because it is peaceful and glows with the promise of good things to come. This along with photography is one of my favorite combinations. She was shooting an image just as the sun truly came over the horizon, and I happened to glance over just as she turned into a shadow in front of the golden sun.
