While spending time in Hilo on The Big Island of Hawaii, I was amazed at the vivid reflection of my shadow over a puddle. The sky was overcast. It had just rained and was threatening to open up again. I crouched down, lowered my camera from my face, and was able to capture a dark silhouette of my body that revealed the rocky texture at the bottom of the puddle. The colors of the dirt and rock gave such vivid colors while a small movement of water made the reflection swirl a bit at the top of my head, giving the impression of waving hair.
