Defiant Church

The Kisha e Thethit, built in the 19th-century, has served many roles. Church, hospital during the communist period, and schoolhouse during the Ottoman Empire. This last point is significant, as it taught children Albanian during a time when the Albanian language was banned by the Ottoman Turks.
