This man has lived in Gamboa, in rural Brazil, all his life and works as a fisherman. He lives with his wife and dog, and many cats, birds, and chickens. He grows grapes, bananas, and cherries, and has a beautiful, little waterfall in his backyard. His parents are "off traveling forever", but his nine siblings and grandmother are still alive, and they get together every so often and eat meals together at one table. Unlike many others in this part of the country, he has a lot of respect for indigenous and black people, saying that "they are the ones who taught us everything" in the early stages of this country. He is an experienced hiker, fisherman, and gardener, and he loves speaking with foreigners.
