The Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center in Delphi, IN, offers regularly-scheduled canal boat rides on a preserved stretch of the Wabash and Erie Canal. However, there were no passengers in the boat as it passed by, just the 2 boatmen. There is a terrible sadness that hangs over the town, because of the widely publicized murders of 2 young girls in 2017. The girls were murdered in the park by the canal.
