I was in Khichan, India on a private tour. I had specifically asked to visit the cranes at Khichan. The spend the winter there, and the village has adopted them. The villagers put out food each morning (not the total food they need - just a little). We arrived before sunrise and set up on the roof of someone's house. The cranes were late, but they finally arrived.
