16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel

As a filmmaker, story telling through framing means a lot to me; hence, I wanted to convey what the epitome of "being lost in thoughts" meant to me . Zoning out and staring at planes, wishing I was in them is a big part of my day. To place the object of departure from my reality in a lower third of the frame, as a small speckle of wonder, is to me, the representation of the freedom of my thoughts.
