Derzhprom, Kharkiv. Built in 1928 as the administrative centre of Soviet Ukraine, the constructivist showpiece was, at the time of its completion, the most spacious single structure in the world. Its symmetrical network of interlocking walls and walkways are very easy to get lost in.
