Desert energy, Lithium pools of Bolivia
Desert energy - Enormous evaporation lithium pools near Lippi production plant on the South edge of Salar de Uyuni! The workers are drilling the salt with humongous rigs, aiming for the brine underneath at the world’ biggest salt flats at Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. Lodged under enormous quantities of magnesium and potassium lies their goal: lithium, the essential power source for all the world's gadgets, the key component to fuel the 21-st century.
