At the end of a family trip to Big Bend National park, we witnessed a small rodent (after much discussion the family decided it was a prairie dog) escape certain death! This was the scene directly following. In the middle of the road, you can barely see the lucky rodent and in the sky, the still hungry predator flying away empty claw.
