Desert Oasis
The lower calf creek fall, located in the Grand Staircase Escalante, is staggering. The six mile hike through stunning red canyons and desert heat is both exhilarating and exhausting at the same time. Finally, our journey through the simmering heat was rewarded by this view of the lower calf creek falls, a desert oasis.
