"Desert Snow Squaw" captures the spirit of a older squaw looking down (left) into a Tuscon, AZ canyon. Her crown is coated with snow from a rare desert snow storm in March 2023. Juxtaposed against a patch of clear and sunny sky the fluffy snow covering the Desert Snow Squaw's barbed (and painful to remove) spines invite a hug.
