18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Detail of Barri-to tree Marco

The tree exists and I am also the Land Art artist who made it, the colors are colored Natural Pesticides, made with Lime, Milk, Flour, Natural Pigments, Water and Linseed Oil. The colorful tree in addition to being noticed to teach that the environment is important for our future can teach us many other things.... In this case we see a disturbing detail: an unscrupulous hunter is about to shoot the baby elephant painted in blood red. It is located in street San Donato Turin Italy
