Dev deepawali or the deepavali of gods, is the festival among the hindus, who commemorate the festival as Lord Shiva's victory over the demon, Tripurasura. The festival is celebrated on the full moon night in the month of Kartika, with a lot of grandeur throughout India. People celebrate the occasion by lighting up oil lamps along the banks of the river Ganges.
