The great hammerheads (Sphyrna mokarran) of Bimini are likely the most photographed within the hammerhead family. In this image you’ll notice a scientific tag on the base of this hammerheads dorsal; this tag was placed by scientists of the Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation and I was grateful to witness its placement through a freediving tagging technique.
