Diamond Black Beach
They call it the diamond black beach. And it sure reminds us of such a fantasy world. Its truly the remaining fragments of the big glaciar, dragged along the river ending up in the sea. As they are massive, it sure takes them a while to melt, fortunately gives us a chance to shoot it! :) This beach is located right next to the glacier lagoon of Jokulsarlon. It’s a pretty amazing feeling to be standing there…the waves crashing against the giant ice blocks makes you respect both the sea and the ice...
