Diamond Rock By Sea

A view of Diamond Rock between Martinuque and St. Lucia in the Caribbean Sea. Some say the rock has the profile of man, some say of monkey. He watches over the foothills of the Grand Tetons in Martinique. These specific crests are locally known for being the shape of a lady in repose, as they resemble her curves. The famous profile is in clear view guarding Martinique as it has for centuries. Coveted and fought for by both the British and the French, the Diamond Rock is now a protected sanctuary for many species of birds and reptiles indigenous to the island.
