In a temple in Kathmandu, I encountered a routine almsgiving ceremony, and the young monks responsible for the task seemed a bit weary. On the other hand, peers on the sidelines appeared relaxed. Throughout the process of growing up, individuals may make different choices at times, but ultimately, they will all confront the reality of their own lives.
