This photo was taken at Smokey Shadows Lodge and Country Gourmet Dining on their back porch which is really the front porch. It's said to be the longest porch in the Smokies and the most magnificent view in Maggie Valley, NC. The lodge is a former gristmill moved to this 4500 foot bluff. Well worn rockers with fluffy pillows and a bottle of wine on the table are all anyone needs to soak in the view!
