Dinnertime in Nyhavn

The end of a workweek in Nyhavn, Copenhagen, Denmark. Nyhavn (New Harbor) is a 17th-century waterfront, canal, and entertainment district. The northern side is lined by brightly colored townhouses, bars, cafes, and restaurants built of wood and bricks. The southern side has mansions lining the canal, along with ships belonging to the Danish National Museum. Until the 1970s, this area was the red-light district.
