14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Sustainable Travel
Display Cases at the Charles Darwin Research Station new Exhibition Hall
I took this photo while traveling in the Galapagos, and volunteering with the Charles Darwin Research Station to develop a new educational Exhibition Hall. My exhibit design raised donations for the construction of the exhibits. It included designs for all the furniture and display cases and tables, in addition to all graphics and the marine wall mural. I traveled there to supervise the process in Feb 2016 and lead the mural painting work. The Exhibition Hall promotes sustainable environmental practices through educating locals and tourists.
