I walk my dog everyday down to a storm drain near my house. One day there was a hammer laying on the ground near the water. The shadow of my dog juxtaposed with the rusty hammer looked quite strange - even mysterious - I thought. I shot several images of this composition...my dog became quite bored with standing there. This is NOT a composite or otherwise altered image.
