On a summer day a stray dog is asleep at the doorstep to the former Jewish charity which was sold tot he state when many Jews left Serbia for Israel in the late 1940s and turned into a cinema and later a community/cultural centre but has been returned under the programme of property return to various previous owners aftr the fall of communism.
