Having lived more than 3 years on Svalbard in the high arctic I have tried a lot of the amazing things that can be experienced here. One of my favorite things to do is spring ski touring on the glacier plateaus north of Isfjorden. Traveling on the bare untouched glacier surfaces with Nunataks raising to the sky here and there is very special and tranquil. This photo is taken while skiing down Eidembreen towards the ocean.
