Svalbard. I came to Longyearbyen in March 2019 to spend 2 weeks on the M/S Origo looking for polar bears. I arrived a few days before we were due to board to spend some time discovering the area. Going on a dogsled trip had been on my bucket list for some time so I booked a trip with a local operator. I wanted to take a photo that conveyed the vast emptiness of the Arctic, the rhythmic motion of the dogs and the almost mystical environment.
