An artist friend had unexpectedly passed away. I went, with other artist friend to her memorial in New York City. The room was filled with daylight flooding in from windows. I took out my iPhone 6 to document the event. Intensity of light was too strong for the not-professional-camera-like-lens of the cellular phone camera to process in a normal way to create an image. But the very limit of the lens created a mystical looking effect that I like to interpret as a presence of the spirit that had departed.
