Don't Knock Me Down
The columns in this photograph once belonged to a building in Atlanta called Leyden House, from before the Civil War. In 1914, the columns were saved but the rest of the building was rebuilt as the Woodberry School Hall for Girls in 1914. Today in 2016, the building is divided up into apartments. With such a complex history, it's interesting for such a building to be surrounded by skyscrapers in Midtown Atlanta, now seeming a little out of place.
